For the next step in the project, we will be filling out a KWL. I choose a KWL because not only does it give us an idea of which group each student belongs in at first (approaching standard, at standard, above standard) but it will also tell us what we can add to the lesson and be able to get the students to take all out of it they can. It also shows us who did what research and work at the group project and future grouping decisions. So far, we have decided to have balance in the group by placing one from each group into one, so as to create order. Below is the model for our KWL for feudal Japan and the samurai.
